Frustration and anger can be a problem for any sports
person. Regardless of the triggers which are causing
the problem, anger can occasionally be useful during
very specific times in competition only if managed
correctly and with the right techniques.
Unfortunately, some people use it continually and find
it is inconsistent as there is a specific way of utilizing
it and making it work FOR you and not against you.
We will be showing you how to harness and utilise
aggression IF you really need it and when it is destructive to your performance.
The hardest thing to do is to change something which you believe at some point worked for you, even if it isnt working for you now.
An explanation of brain function and how and why some people use and access aggressive states better than others will be in the members section along with why some people shouldnt even try to use it.
Outside of the competing arena, it can become a problem if there are external problems affecting you or you may have embedded pattern of behavior or reaction you just cant seem to change. Additionally, on build up to competition there are sometimes other factors which add to anger issues which may not be “curable” and are all part of the build up process but can certainly be managed with some straight forward strategies.
For whatever reason the problem is happening – if it is impacting on you on a personal, sport or professional basis and causing issues then there is a simple and practical approach and therapy work which can help you managed this and understand where it comes from and possible other causes.
We are aiming to have some video interviews on this in the members section to help those who want to deal with this.
